Unfortunately, several reports of criminal vandalism in our complex have been recently reported to our Board and property management company. Most of these incidents have been related to vehicles parked on our streets in authorized parking spaces. We want to do all we can to prevent future incidents and we asked any resident who has been a victim of a crime like this or who have witnessed a crime to please report the incident as soon as possible to the San Diego Police Department. If you see a crime in progress, contact them at 911. Or, for an after-incident report, call them at 619-531-2000 or 858-484-3154. It is very important to report crime in our complex, even if the "loss" is relatively small.
We are working with SDPD to increase their patrols, both night and day, on our streets, but they need to have actual victim crime reports to give us the attention we are looking for and only the victim of the crime can report the incident.
The Board is implementing additional measures to help us detect and prevent further crimes and to aid the police in identifying who is responsible for these actions. We intend to pursue all legal actions possible to prosecute the perpetrator(s) of these criminal actions.
